Hearing aid batteries, zinc-air Power One belong to the line of specialized batteries - dedicated to hearing aids and other medical devices requiring a reliable and efficient power source.
Batteries made in Germany are among the most valued batteries of this type on the market.
Their success is due to: high quality, reliability, very long lifespan.
Batteries are often recommended on forums, discussion groups, often added as factory equipment for some hearing aids.
Their performance and long lifespan are influenced by high capacity, and thanks to a special long handle, removing batteries from the packaging and placing them in the hearing aid is now very easy and simple.
The batteries come from the latest production.
After removing the protective sticker, wait at least about 2 minutes before the battery is activated in the device. This time is needed for oxygen to penetrate the battery structures - only then does the battery activate and reach the appropriate voltage for operation. During battery operation, it is also important to ensure that the battery compartment has the possibility of further air penetration.
Batteries will last longer if they come from fresh production (long shelf life) and are stored in a dry and cool place (avoid storing batteries in hot places or cold ones, e.g., in the refrigerator - this reduces lifespan). Additionally, it is worth remembering to turn off the device at night and when it will not be used for a long time. It is also recommended to leave the battery compartment in the device open at night - this prevents moisture from settling in it, which adversely affects the batteries.
Avoid: using batteries other than zinc-air (alkaline batteries are significantly weaker and may leak). Avoid keeping discharged batteries in the device or mixing batteries of different brands or mixing new batteries with old ones - always replace the entire set. It is also prohibited to keep batteries loose together with metal objects.
What shortens battery life: higher amplification level in the device, turning on additional functions, being in noise, prolonged phone conversation (at the ear), high or low humidity, high or low temperatures, air pollution.
