A large set of 100 heat shrink tubings. Black tubing, 95 mm long, with diameters ranging from 1.5 mm to 13 mm.
After applying the heat shrink tubing to the wire, heat it briefly. The tubing shrinks under high temperature, forming a tight seal and thoroughly securing the component. A low-power heat gun or even a regular lighter is sufficient to shrink the tubing.
Heat shrink tubing provides excellent insulation and sealing. It creates a protective, anti-corrosion, insulating, and decorative layer. It is highly resistant to changing weather conditions and protects against moisture – it adapts to the shape of the object being shrunk, increasing its mechanical strength. Heat shrink tubing has high shrink strength and an unlimited shelf life. It is also resistant to fungi, mold, and aggressive agents, such as winter road salt solutions.
Applications:
- Insulating electrical connections
- Connecting and welding wire harnesses
- Insulating wire ends on connectors and terminal blocks
- Repairing and restoring damaged cable insulation
