This gives you the option of operating your conventional camera with a USB-C output source independently of a fixed power source. Suitable power supplies and power banks with USB-C output can be found below under the "Accessories" tab. Furthermore, the adapters can be used in monitors and LED lights that use a battery from the Sony NP-F series.
