The camera life is significantly extended with the battery grip, as the battery compartment can hold up to 2 Canon LP-E6N batteries. The integrated charging function charges the batteries directly in the battery grip (power supply included). The further developed ergonomically shaped and non-slip battery grip makes the camera much easier to hold and use. The built-in flash sync socket is used, for example, to connect wired studio flash units.
